Story
As you may know, on February 20th 2016 we gave birth to our long awaited for daughter, Mia, at 32 weeks who we found out 2 days before, was going to be still born. Our hearts that day broke into a million pieces and 4 months on they still are. Finding out that your child has passed away was, to us, the worst possible thing that could happen especially to a family who had tried so hard to become pregnant in the first place.... Bolton hospital and their staff have been amazing to us and we've met and kept I touch with a few people there who truly are amazing and will always mean so much to us. One thing I wanted to do for our local hospital was to raise funds towards a cold cot but I've been advised they have 6 and thank God they are never always being used. From this we had a meeting with Andy the main funraiser at the hospital who informed us of a remembrance garden being built at the hospital where mums, like myself, can have a plaque made with our babies names on which would have a seating area and feature a mural in the middle where we can go at anytime to remember our babies lost at the hospital. At the moment there is just a tree where people leave things like teddies which will be left but those parents too can arrange a plaque for their child which will mean so much to so many parents. We are currently trying to raise funds and will be arranging events over the coming months which we know will all add up and we also have a few friends who are doing the same. We hope you can get involved and this lovely garden can be created for our local hospital. if anyone is interested in doing an event towards this please feel free to do so. It means so much to us all your support so Thankyou from me, Matt, Maisy For 🌸 Mia and friends remembrance Garden 🌸 Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
