On Saturday 20 September, a team from the Goodwin Procter London office (plus a few family & friends) will be cycling from London to Brighton in order to raise money for deafPLUS, the London office charity of the year. The route - 60 miles in total - will take the cyclists from the firm's office in the heart of the City of London to meet the sea on England's south coast at the famous Brighton Pier. Doing "the London to Brighton" is a popular trip on both two and four wheels and as well as just covering the distance, the cyclists will tackle the well renowned climb of Ditchling Beacon: a 1 mile climb with an average gradient exceeding 1 in 10, and several sections are somewhat steeper! Once at the top, the descent into Brighton begins and the end (as well as the sea, beach and ice-creams) will be in sight!
