Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It has long been a dream of mine to run the London marathon, I watch it on TV every year and have always thought to myself if only I could.....

Well, with this in mind and my 40th birthday looming, I decided to stop dreaming and do something about it. So I joined a beginners running course last year. 

I completed the course and joined the club that provided the course, and with a lot of help and support from the coaches I have completed my goals for this year, namely running three half marathons, improving my time with every one.

So, now onto the big one. I wasn't fortunate enough to secure a place in the ballot, so applied to a few different charities, all of which I have a link with either myself, or through friends and family. I was offered four places.

I decided I would like to run for PARC. PARC is a fairly local charity that provides an amazing and absolutely invaluable service to families in Essex with children who have additional needs. They provide play sessions, days out and events and really are a great source of help and support for these families.

I am doing the hard work ;) so all I ask of you lovely people is that you help me to raise as much as I possibly can for PARC, and in return I promise I will do you all proud on 24th April. Any donation is welcome, no matter how small.
