I've worked at the Pembridge Palliative Care Centre for the past 21 years on both the inpatient unit and now in the community.  It has been very rewarding and a privilege to care for people with a terminal illness and supporting them to ensure they have a quality of life through managing symptoms, and supporting them and their families at what is often a very difficult time in their lives.

The donations will help us support our patients in many ways throughout the unit including accessing a massage service, complimentary therapies both in the unit and now being able to provide this service in the community we cover.

In the community team, we are looking at providing a couple of pool bikes to help the team visit patients more easily.
