Story

On the 3rd October 2014 Clarksons tragically lost one of its rising young stars Roger Pyatt, a 31 year old broker on its Specialised Products desk, to a heart attack as a result of an Peripheral Arterial Disease.

Clarksons aims to raise substantial funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young over the course of 2015. One of its first fundraising efforts will take place on Thursday 19th March; an indoor rowing challenge where 10 teams from London, Dubai, Singapore and Houston will go head-to-head in a bid to beat a containership transiting the Panama Canal. In association with Nuffield Health, Dynaforce,The Address Marina and Crossfit Zeke, who are kindly donating the Concept2 machines, teams will row against the clock, and each other, to cover the 77,000 meter distance in less than the 8 hours it can take to transit the canal.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
