Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After running in the Hull 10K earlier this year and my part in the Hull Marathon I’m now taking on the 'Three Peaks Challenge' on Friday 02nd October as part of my commitment and that of "Team Cobus" to raise the profile of the ‘Hull Children's University’ our nominated Cobus Foundation Charity for 2015 and hopefully also raise some welcome funds for this local charity that provides local children with life-changing learning experiences that they may otherwise never get the opportunity to have!

A little bit of info about the Three Peaks:

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes place in the Yorkshire Dales and includes the successful summit of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. This involves circa 25 miles & 5,000 feet of climbing over a range of tough and testing terrains. The 'Challenge' is to complete the Three Peaks in less than 12-hours but after a PB time of just 09-hours 14-Minutes last year (one of the toughest I've done yet!) I will be looking at beating this time - although I will be doing it alone!

Tough Times! I appreciate that times are tough and money has never been tighter but just £1 can make a difference to this local charity......so please be generous!
