Last year I ran my first marathon and said never again. Shortly after that my health took a bit of a nosedive but delighted to say recovered and back in the running. It's great to be able to take part via the licensing industry charity, Light Fund, and support the Children's Trust charity which supports children with acquired brain injury. (https://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk ) Rocky, my trusty Cocker Spaniel is doing his best to get me in shape. The plan is to finish the race before the lights go out and hang up my ' marathon ' trainers having raised lots of money. It would be amazing to help the Light Fund have a record breaking year. Any donation will be gratefully received.
