Story

First and foremost, a huge debt of gratitude to my manager Lisa Philiskirk – her light-hearted banter one morning in April this year inspired me to get started on this journey. Put simply, it prompted me to undertake a thorough introspection and as the saying goes, the rest is history.

I am therefore inviting you all to join me as I go back in time (A BLAST FROM THE PAST) and grow an Afro for the first time in 30 years! and raise money for good causes. Remember, we MAKE A LIVING from what we EARN but MAKE A LIFE from what we GIVE.

It therefore gives me great pleasure to announce The Children’s Foundation which does outstanding work to help improve the lives of children throughout the region as my chosen charity. The charity, based at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary is dedicated to improving the health, wellbeing and safety of children and young people across the North East.
