Its like Dry-January, only the dates are a little different so as to allow for shift work and being able to get a few festive swollies in before the episode begins. Its only 31 days and anyone is welcome to complete the same alcohol-free-sacrifice and donate some of the cash earmarked for alcohol to the cats!
