If you're donating then you know my story - breast cancer out of the blue at age 36. Treatment is pretty gruesome and a hard slog, but after chemo, two surgeries and radiotherapy, I'm looking towards the future and it's about time I said thank you to the wonderful team in charge of my care. 

Half way through my treatment the incredible Worcestershire Breast Unit opened. It's a true haven where you can be seen by the relevant professionals under one roof, in a calm and nurturing environment away from the blunt, bright crassness of the main hospital.  It took my surgeon and a huge team of fundraisers 8 years to get enough money to set up the unit and now they need help to keep it going. So I'm hoping to raise a bit of money to help by attempting to get round the Worcester 10k on 18th September. 

I won't be breaking any records but I want to celebrate life and get round the course, so anything at all you can spare is so incredibly gratefully received. Thank you so much xxxx
