Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have set this page up with a view to trying to raise awareness of Aspergers and the effect it has on a family, by raising funds to support their work. Those of you who knew Marianne will know that it provided her with a far bigger challenge than her heart condition.

It was her wish that people donate money in her name to the Aspergers Syndrome Foundation.  She dearly wished that training be given to help people in the general public be aware of the condition and how to deal with it.

In her name I have taken on this challenge and contribute a parents' perspective to a training course run by Kent County Council.  Through a better understanding of the condition will come tolerance and then hopefully acceptance.  Know whatever you donate will help to make a difference. So thank you!

Elaine
