The five of us work for Essex County Council's Fostering Service and are passionate about making a difference to the lives of so many children and young people in Essex and the UK who through no fault of their own cannot live with their family.

Every child deserves a happy loving home and childhood but some children, for a variety of reasons, are not able to live with their birth families and that’s where
fostering steps in.

We know that the care our children receive from our foster carers makes an amazing difference to their lives.
