Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Abdul Baksh was a kind hearted individual who was sadly taken from us far too young. We are trying to raise money in his memory for a charity close his heart, and to keep him in our thoughts.
On one Sunday morning in September 2016, we are going to cycle 46 miles from Abdul's home town Luton, Bedfordshire, to Natilik, London (EC2M 4YN). The journey will take us through Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Hertford, to Hoddesdon, where we will travel South through Lee Valley Regional Park, into London and through to Devonshire Square via Stratford.
There is a team of us made up of friends and former colleagues from ONI in Luton, and Natilik in London, intending on making the journey: Myself, Dan Short, Steve Playle, Andrew Murray, Lucy Galloway, Tariq Khan, Matt Keen, Khory Blackstock, Afsar Chaudhury, Rob Akester and Sana Khan and we will be accompanied by Abdul's brother Kaleel Baksh.
Abdul was taken from us shortly after beginning a new chapter of his IT career at Natilik in London. This marked a huge milestone in Abdul's professional career so we intend to make the same journey in honour of him.
