Story
Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
I don't actually like running. Despite being a reasonable sportsman in years gone past, I was always ridiculed, (some would say bullied!), for being very, very slow.
So why this? Well there is a desire to get fitter and lose a bit of weight, mainly influenced by my father being very ill last year, and I think his general good fitness has helped him out so far in recovery.
Training also gets me out the house for some "Darren" time!
What is my form like? Well the last "race" I ran was in 1986, a 3-legged 5k fun run with my mate Ben. We didn't win, but got round. Not much to go on I know.
Thank to Team London and Natixis Global Asset Management I have a great opportunity to raise some awareness for Providence Row.
Providence Row seeks to tackle the root causes of homelessness to help vulnerable people get off, and stay off, the streets of London since 1860.
