Story
Everyday people across Scotland are struggling to feed their families for a variety of reasons - some as basic as being faced with an unexpected bill on top of an already stretched budget.
This week the Daily Record are celebrating all of the good work that The Trussell Trust's network of foodbanks and volunteers do for those in need in Scotland by asking our readers to donate.
On average 350 people are fed each day by foodaid in Scotland and a donation of just £5 can help The Trussell Trust provide a family of four with one day's worth of food.
Just £10 covers the cost of petrol to deliver three Emergency Food Boxes to families in crisis in rural areas.
£30 provides three days worth of nutritionally balanced food for a family of four in crisis.
If you'd like your donation to go to a specific Trussell Trust foodbank just let us know in the comments section and The Trussell Trust will make sure it reaches them.
On behalf of the Daily Record and The Trussell Trust we thank you for your donation.
