Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have recently agreed to take on the challenge of climbing to Mount Everest Base Camp. The trip will take over 19 days - 6 days of travelling and 13 days climbing. We will aim to reach Base Camp on day 13, 5545 metres above sea level.
You will be pleased to hear that I won't be alone in this daunting task and have persuaded Nick Moore, Corby Workshop Foreman, to come along for the ride! The two of us will be part of a larger group of 30 that will make the ascent commencing on 23rd March 2013.
You may ask why would I do this and I've already started asking myself the same question. The answers that I keep coming up with include...... just for the pure challenge, to prove I don't need my bike to get anywhere, to get fit(ter!?) and to raise as much money as possible for a well deserving charity.
