So this year , I turn to another passion of mine- supporting and fighting for the survival of Elephants in Kenya

The  opportunity to support this worthy cause   has drawn me back  to do the Enormous Elephant fun run this June in Clapham.. ..the running shoes have been dusted off and  my heart and soul Is ready even if the body isn't !  ! It's been a slow start , I will be honest with you but finally my body has accepted that another run is just round the corner.

In October ,Ron and I will travel to KENYA for a safari holiday of a lifetime .. When we booked this holiday over 2 years ago , my passion for Elephants took a new chapter -my eyes were opened fully to the atrocities that were taking place.. An issue I was aware of but had not really absorbed.. To think that within the next 30-40 years , we could lose these wonderful creatures is unbearable and unthinkable  ..I am now a proud supporter of the David Sheldrick Wildlife trust as well as an adopted "sponsor parent" to baby Godoma who I hope to meet when I visit their wonderful Elephant  orphanage in Nairobi.

My thanks also goes to AccorHotels - a company I have worked for 16 years - some great raffle prizes have been donated from some of our hotels which I hope will allow me to raise a great deal of money for DSWT
