My name is Daniel and I am training to be an outdoors instructor with Rock UK, I am doing this because it means I can enjoy and help others to enjoy the world God made for us while spreading and growing in gods love.

I used to work for a large outdoors retail store and then the Rock UK training programme caught my attention so I looked into it and applied because it looked so good. I went through the interview process and when I got the offer I handed in my notice, when I did this the store I worked for tried to keep me....

So I had a decision to make stay at the store or go to Rock UK where I would have to raise a lot of money which was the main down side because I would have to raise a minimum of £3,000 pound for the first year and then another £3,000 for the second year, I made the decision to go to Rock UK and am enjoying it so much I have learnt so much and it's only been the first two weeks.

I am so glad I made that decision it's been a great two weeks and there is loads more learning in Christ and the outdoors to come and I can't wait.

I am currently in Scotland about 45 minutes from the border at Whithaugh park which is where a large amount of my training is held. I am 1 of the 14 on the training programme. I will upload photos when I can so you can see the big impact on my life (and hopefully the lives of the people I meet) that your money makes.
