Story
On 24th April this year I will join approximately 36,000+ runners for the 2016 Virgin London Marathon.
I will be raising money for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation (“PPBF”) on behalf of Aggie, a beautiful and courageous 6 year old girl and her family, Emma, Hubert and Greta. In May 2014 Aggie was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer and has required ongoing treatment in Southampton Hospital. The PPBF have supported Aggie and her family with accommodation during the long periods of time they have been away for treatment.
The PPBF are aiming to raise £150,000 to buy a property, The Burrow, within a short distance of Southampton Hospital to compliment the apartment they are already able to offer to families of premature babies and sick children in need. The Burrow will provide accommodation just a stone’s throw from the Hospital, making a huge difference to the day-to-day lives of local Guernsey families with children being cared for in the Hospital at a real time of uncertainty.
Whatever size of donation I would be extremely grateful if you could help realise the PPBF’s goal of helping families like Aggie’s by providing a home from home and keeping them together in their time of need.
