Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit myJustGiving page. As many of you know my mum, step dad and i were in a fire on NYE 2015. We were lucky we survived. The motorhome caught light when we were asleep and the fire broke out starting under my bed hence me getting the worst of it. I got 85% burns to my whole body. I was placed in a coma for over a month and nearly didnt make it. I thought that was it. My life over. My looks had gone and i didn't want to be here anymore. I've been through so much in my life already and this was the icing on the cake. I was then put in touch with the KPF and Katie and Zinny came to see me at home. That gave me a boost i must admit. Speaking to someone else who's life changed over night too. I was then invited on a weekender funded by the KPF where i met the most amazing people who have all been through so much and are such strong people. Everyone from different walks of life but with such positive attitudes. All burn survivors like myself. That weekend helped me and gave me hope and put the fight back in me to carry on. I now want to raise money to help them hold these events so other burn survivors can benefit from it like i did. So please help by supporting me and donating what you can to this charity and supporting me in doing a skydive for this charity which is very close to my heart. Thanks. Danielle xx
