Streets of Growth (SOG) are North Highland’s chosen charity of the year for 2016. SOG help young people from the toughest estates in Tower Hamlets (East London) to make positive changes in their lives and communities. The charity was founded on a strong desire to make a change by witnessing the challenges that young people from poorer backgrounds face in the transition between youth-hood, the street, school, employment and into adulthood. SOG have a hands-on approach and build long term relationships with the young people that they help to create their own social initiatives that contribute to community regeneration of Tower Hamlets.
