Story
Dear Generous Benefactor,
It's that time of year again, when middle aged men dust off the lycra and place posteriors to leather, all in a vain attempt to emulate long since past days of glory.
Somewhat foolishly, in a moment of testosterone fuelled machismo, I declared to the office that I could ride to all of our Blue Cedar Homes offices in one working day.
A few years ago that would have meant a relaxing bimble from Bristol to Exeter. However, Blue Cedar Homes (selfishly) has recently opened a third office in Ringwood which has now made the boast seem rather foolhardy. Anyway, according to our overlords at Google, it's going to be jaunty 143 miles of pure cycling pleasure of which my bottom can only dream. Vaseline will no doubt be the order of the day.
I'm trying to raise £1500 for the Devon Community Foundation. Every pound you kindly donate will be matched by Eagle One Ltd / Blue Cedar Homes and passed on to this most worthy of causes. Click here to see some of the excellent projects that the DCF supports. I appreciate that times are tough at the moment but as the saying goes, every little helps.
The ride will take place on August 30th

If you would prefer to donate by text message, text DAZG73 followed by the donation amount in pounds (in one pound increments up to £10 max) to 70070.
Example: DAZG73 10 would be a £10 donation. 100% of the text donation goes to the charity and there's no fees for the service.
Many thanks,
Darren
