Story
My Uncle Robert died unexpectedly on 27th February of this year. He is remembered by most who knew him as the "biggest-hearted man" going. Having run the Edinburgh Marathon once before (ten years ago) I will run it again this year in Robert's memory. He was a benevolent man and supported numerous charities throughout his life, often in support of children. I will be raising money for Children 1st whose vision for the future is a happy, healthy, safe and secure upbringing for every child and young person in Scotland. Some children have little to smile about. Children 1st are determined to give them reasons to.
Those who know me (well) will know that I hate running... and that I'm bad at it - an activity I usually reserve for emergencies like making last orders or avoiding awkward people or the situations they bring about. I've signed up late and left little time for training; 6 weeks will be ok eh? Any donation you can make is amazing and I'm sincerely grateful.
Thank you for being big-hearted too ;) Dx
