We support safe water, sanitation & hygiene to change lives in Africa

Story

This August, seven other cyclists and I are getting on our bikes and riding "Z2A" to help Village Water change lives in Zambia and Mozambique.  We're setting off from Zeebrugge near Bruges on Saturday 27th August and cycling about 240 miles, via Ghent, Antwerp and Delft, to Amsterdam, aiming to arrive on Monday 29th August.

The impact Village Water has is huge:  villages it recently supported saw a massive reduction in waterborne diseases:  98% reduction in diarrhoea, 89% in eye infections and 81% in malaria.

And over 90p of every £1 raised by Village Water last year went on charitable activities, compared with under 80p which the major charity in this sector allocated.

So you can be sure that your money is being used effectively and efficiently.

Every penny counts, so please help save and change lives - dig deep and you might even strike water!

Any support you can give is really appreciated.

Dave

Village Water is transforming lives in Africa. Since 2003 we've supported over 800 communities and 80 schools in Zambia with safe water, sanitation and hygiene. Our work improves health by reducing waterborne diseases, meaning children can go to school more and adults have more time to farm.
