Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As devoted supporters of The Jim Cronin Memorial Fund and Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre and all the work that they are involved in around the world, we will be attempting to reach the summit of Ben Nevis, The highest mountain in the British Isles, approx 1,344 meters, (4,409 ft) above sea level, but we will also be spending the night under canvas on the mountain in order to complete the challenge. All of the funds raised from this event will go to The Jim Cronin Memorial Fund for primate welfare and conservation. Registered charity number 1126939.
These funds will be used for the many primate welfare, rehabilitation, conservation and education programmes that the fund supports all over the world. Full details about the charity can be found at www.jimcroninmemorialfund.org.
On a personal level this is something that we are both passionate about and ask you all please not to send us christmas cards and gifts but donate to our page instead and help us help our primate family.
There is a minimum amount of money needed to compete this challenge and we will both be sponsoring each other to cover that cost so any donations from you will go straight to the charity and not towards the cost of our trek.
Thank you for your support we really appreciate it. Dave & Jo
