Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

David was diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2015 and despite two operations, radiotherapy and chemotherapy 'Gilbert the Glioblastoma Multiforme' proved his resistance to any of the treatment. In all of the 18 months from time of diagnosis to his death David showed his determination to carry on despite knowing that time was no longer on his side.

Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice helped us out before we had the palliative care team of Guy's Hospital engaged.  The hospice relies on voluntary donations and tries to raise around £4m each year through the community. David's sister, Liz and I are indebted for the support they provided and we hope to raise sufficient funds in David's name to help them buy some new syringe drivers.
