Story

David Andrews is running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 14 April 2013 in memory of his cousin Samantha Verrall who was a strong and courageous young woman who suffered from Cystinosis. This is a rare condition that causes multiplication of organ damaging crystals. Samantha had a successful kidney transplant at the age of 13 and endured a second transplant at the age of 20 as the condition worsened. Samantha also suffered two heart failures which despite weeks in intensive care she overcame, but sadly in April 2012 Sam lost her fight at the age of 28. Because of this charity Sam lasted a memorable 28 years.

Any donations in the form of sponsorship would be much appreciated to advance medical research of this horrible condition. Thank You.
