Growing old is something that happens to all of us.  Many people view this as something to dread but it needn't be the case.  Often seen as a period of mental and physical decline people can often worry about the loss of their independence or their dignity. 

I first met Shelley Blackstone, Fundraising Executive at MJCC a couple of years ago when she first visited my salon.  When I heard first hand from her about the amazing work and support the Nicky Alliance Day Centre was providing I was bowled over.  

Growing old is inevitable and having help is essential.  It made sense as a business owner to give back to the community and help a great cause.
