After a few beers to celebrate my 40th birthday last year, some friends and I were talking cycling. Somewhere between a pint of Doom bar and a Kingfisher, we signed up for the ballot for the Prudential RideLondon cycle event. This is 100 miles in less than 8.5hrs across London and Surrey. Not expecting to get a place, I thought I was pretty safe doing this. Imagine my surprise then, when a couple of weeks ago I got accepted. 

So in for a penny, in for a pound. Well, your pound actually. I'm raising money for MASKS which is a charity associated with my son's school - Booker Park, in Aylesbury. This special school do amazing things and they have really helped my son make friends, learn and have fun.
