The reason why I'm doing this years GNR 2016 is because of Tony Clarke and Colin Simpson. These men coach my son @ Under 15-16's and are great lads and they asked me if i fancied doing the run for Gateshead Redheugh Boys Fc to which i said " Sign me up"

I did the 2013 GNR with my Dad which was his last ever GNR and it was my first so i thought why not do it again and see if i can beat his time he got when he was in his 20's (1hr 45-47mins)

Challenge accepted!!
