Story
After years of entering the London Marathon ballot, I've secured a place for the race on Sunday. As most of you will know, I don't usually ask for sponsorship for going for a run because I rather like it. This time, at the last minute, I've changed my mind and decided that what would make the event even more amazing is if I had more than a massive build up of lactic acid to show for it. Besides, a few of you had already kindly volunteered to sponsor me - so I thought it would be churlish not to accept your cash on behalf of a brilliant charity.
Roundabout provides therapy to a wide range of disadvantaged people throughout London. It helps them build trusting relationships, improve their self-confidence and provides a safe place to explore and express their feelings. In their 30th anniversary year all donations are being matched so there is even more reason to give generously.
