Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is the third time I have taken the opportunity to cycle round Central London to raise funds for The Racehorse Sanctuary. The cycle redways around Milton Keynes allow me to cycle to try to keep fit, despite the fact that I have already had one of my hips resurfaced by the redoubtable Mr McMinn.
The Prudential RideLondon challenge for me is to cycle from Shenley Church End to Milton Keynes Central, catch the train to Euston, cycle through the traffic to Lincoln Inn Fields to join the Freecycle route, cycle this route taking in the Guildhall, Leadenhall Market, St Paul's Cathedral, the Victoria Embankment, St James's Park, Buckingham Palace, Green Park, The Mall and Aldwych, and then make my way home again.
I was not sure I would be able to make it this year, as my other hip is now giving me trouble and I have had to book an appointment with Mr McMinn to look into having a second resurfacing operation. However, I am going to give it a go, so please support my efforts to raise money for those wonderful ex-racehorses, who deserve a fulfilled life in retirement.
