David has been a supporter of ‘The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust’ for many years. He ran the London Marathon in 2003 and went on to join the charity’s Trustee Board at the end of that very same year.

David had an extra interest in the Trust as his love of music was equally shared by Tracy Sollis after whom The Trust is founded. They had both played in the same brass band and David had witnessed Tracy’s struggle in the fight against leukaemia.  David’s sudden passing has hit hard, but the memory of the pleasure he gave to so many, through his passion for music, will live on.
