I volunteer at Bolton Hospice, working one afternoon each week in the fundraising department. I see first hand the difference the generosity of others makes to the Hospice. It is truly incredible.

Bolton Hospice provides free care services to people in Bolton with progressive life limiting illnesses. To provide palliative care services, as a charity Bolton Hospice have to fundraise the first £300 of every hour of every day. Here's my challenge to support their cause....

To run the Virgin London Marathon on the 24th April. That gives me only 12 weeks to prepare my mind & body to run 26.2 miles (it's week 1, I can run only 3!). 12 weeks to raise as much money as possible to support the amazing work provided by the Hospice. 

This is the start of my 12 week journey, a huge challenge, to make an incredible difference, please join me & support me in anyway possible (training tips, running buddies, blister plasters...a glass of champagne at the finish line!)
