For a couple of years now I've had several (failed) attempts to get fit. So, in 2012 as motivation to succeed I have booked to go on a 9 day trek on the Great Wall of China in aid of a fantastic charity called Donna's Dream House.

Donna's Dream House is a Charity Trust providing sponsored free holidays of a lifetime in Blackpool for children and teenagers with life threatening illnesses and their families. It was set up by Len and Barbara Curtis in memory of their own daughter, Donna.

Just before Christmas the house was broken into and a fire was started, leading to some holidays having to be cancelled. Work has already started to repair the damage but they need as much help as they can get so I'm aiming to raise £3000 before the end of June through sponsorship and charity events. I will be updating this page with details of the events and how I'm getting on with the training!!!
