Story

Thank you for visiting my page.  Our mum sadly gave birth to 3 babies in the 70's that were all born asleep at full term.  People close to her heart were never aware of the pain and heartache that she suffered.   She kept it close to her heart.

Back in the 70's there were no support groups offered. I remember her telling me that she wasn't even allowed to give her babies a hug, kiss or even see them yet alone give them a funeral in their memory. Mum's story has always broken my heart and in my eyes she will always be an inspirational lady because for the rest of her life she hid her heartache and moved on.  Not long after she met my dad who was a single dad with 3 children (me and my two brothers).

On 20th August 2016 ( a couple of days before her birthday) I and others will be doing a sponsored 60 mile bike ride from one of her home towns, The Ship in Sutton at Hone to The Swan, Westgate on Sea, her other home
town.

Please support me in keeping our Mum's, Nan’s, loved one and friend (truly inspirational lady) and her 3 babies' memory alive.  No gift is too small.  Thank you very much in advance for visiting my page and supporting me and Di's Team & Abigail’s Footsteps Team 2016 xxxx

Thank you so much for reading our story.

Lots of love

Gina & Di's Team
