Earlier this year I read about the devastatingly cruel acid attacks that are prevalent across the world and was reduced to tears at the appalling barbarity and senseless reasons these attacks occur. The courage shown in hearing the victims' stories humbled me.

So, this year, my crazy middle aged white privileged male crisis act of stupid physical exertion will be dedicated to Acid Surviviors Trust International.

ASTI works globally towards the end acid violence and to support the victims of such evil attacks.
