Story

Tim Vine used to hold the world record for the most jokes told in an hour (499) until he was beaten by an Aussie comic who managed 549 in May 2005!  On Wednesday 5 March, I hope to break this record in The Park Bar!  It should be a sooooooooooooooperb night!

Proceeds will be split between four charities based in the Western Isles (Bethesda Care Home & Hospice in Stornoway, Harris House in Tarbert, Tagsa Uibhist in Benbecula and Cobhair Bharraigh in Castlebay)!

Thanks very much in advance for your kind donations!

**You might have heard that I managed to beat the record, managing 580 jokes inside the hour!  Massive thanks to everyone who came along to support the night, to the Park Bar for helping to organise everything, to Robert Robertson and Ross Wilson for supplying some fine tunes, to my counters/timekeepers Alina Simpson, John Robertson and Ann-Marie MacRury, to everyone who sold books and raffle tickets on the night, to everyone who donated raffle prizes, and to everyone who has donated so far! **
