Story

What is The Malcolm Whales Foundation?

This is now the 8th year of the Dorset Sponsored Walk. As with every year we are walking the south west coastal path in memory of Malcolm Whales, Malcolm was Damien Whales' father who sadly past away in 2008 after a short battle with cancer. The Malcolm Whales Foundation is a charity that was created in 2012. The Charity raises money for children's cancer and bowel cancer. Over the past 7 years we have achieved amazing success raising over £100,000.

Why?

Malcolm was only 55 years old when he died from bowel cancer. He was a man who was full of life and always tried to enjoy everything to its maximum. He tragically did not get to enjoy his life for long enough and those close to him will miss numerous years of shared happiness. Those of you who have been affected by Cancer will understand the cruel and ruthless way in which it does not discriminate between its victims. The knock on effect is maybe most devastating for all those who knew and loved them.

The walk is about raising awareness, money and most of all having fun!

Thank you very much for your support.

Please could you make clear who you sponsorship is for.

Many thanks

Damien
