In memory of Malcolm Whales

Story

This is now the 6th year of the Dorset Sponsored Walk. As with every year we are walking in memory of Malcolm Whales, Malcolm was Damien Whales' Father who sadly past away in 2008. The Malcolm Whales Foundation is a new charity created in 2012. The Charity is raising money for Children’s Cancer and Bowel Cancer. Over the last five years we have achieved amazing success raising over £63,000.

Malcolm was only 55 years old when he died form bowel cancer. He was a man who was full of life and always tried to enjoy everything to its maximum. He tragically did not get to enjoy his life for long enough and those close to him will miss numerous years of shared happiness. Those of you who have been affected by Cancer will understand the cruel and ruthless way in which it does not discriminate between its victims. The knock on effect is maybe most devastating for all those who knew and loved them.

The walk is about raising awareness, money and most of all having fun!

Thank you very much for your support.

Damien
