Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for the annula sponsored walk.
A team from Arbuthnott, Bervie and Kinneff church want to help friend Dr Ross Muiry to set up a special care baby unit at Embangweni Mission Hospital in Malawi. Babies there have been dying needlessly because they are so tiny, vulnerable and fragile. Since Dr Ross took overall charge of the sick and premature babies the death rate has been very significantly reduced. His vision now is to develop a dedicated care unit for these babies, staffed by appropriately trained staff. Just £2000 will provide what is needed: baby baskets, heaters, baby monitors, incubators, etc. The baby unit would be a life-long and life-enhancing investment in Malaw's sick babies, giving them a chance of life which may otherwise be denied them.
