Story

There are 5 of us cycling from West Coast to East Coast (Whitehaven to Scarborough) in order to raise money for charities that we hold close to our heart for personal reasons.

That's about 160/170 miles!!!!

Apparently I have to cycle at the front so the other lads can use my massive slipstream!!!

I'm donating all money to a Charity that has helped my family out, particularly my niece- Charlotte.

She was diagnosed from an early age with a rare condition called McCune Albright Syndrone which is a genetic disorder, it affects the bones, skin and several hormone-producing tissues.

People with McCune Albright Syndrome develop areas of abnormal scar like tissue in their bones , a condition called Polyostic Fibrous Dysplasia.

When she was a toddler she had to "sign" in order to communicate and I remember my brother asking me what I wanted my "sign" to be. I told him I didn't mind as long as she recognises me as her Uncle as she was shit scared of any man as all she was used to was having Drs sticking needles and doing tests on her.

So my brother took it upon himself to have his daughters sign for me as her thumb and index finger made into the shape of a circle put on her forehead and pull away and back to her head - that's right - I was (and she still does it when I ask her now!!!) known as UNCLE DICKHEAD!!!! Lol

She's such a character and so loving and I would be eternally grateful for anything you'd care to sponsor me.

I will post pictures along our way and keep you updated.
