Story
As many of you may know, this year I am gaining experience in charity work with the view of developing a career in this sector. In January, I am heading to Nepal with the Mountain Trust to work on their Earthquake Rebuilding project for 2 months.
The Trust receives no statutory funding, so it all comes from fundraising, especially from their volunteers. The tragic 2015 earthquakes killed more than 8,000 people, injured 140,000 and left 4 million homeless. It's time to help rebuild the local communities for the future and ensure that they are not abandoned to poverty and illness.
Given my 'love' and 'adoration' for erging, what better way than to get on it for 33km and raise money for this worthwhile cause!
Anything you can give, be it a penny or a pound, it will all go directly to those Nepalese who most desperately need it. Please help in whatever way you can!
