Edinburgh Cares and Well Foundation partnership launches a special project, to support SYRIAN Widows and destitute women

** on behalf of the sisters and children; we are grateful  for the continuous support and the target that we upped twice due to your generosity as we met both original targets **

APPEAL 1 - SYRIAN WIDOWS AND DESTITUTE WOMEN

Please join our special project to support Syrian widows and their children.
There are thousands of widows and children in need of our help, whilst
they may have fled the war but their daily battle and struggle to live a dignified life continues.

Living in a new country/ place and having to earn living, feed, clothe
children, find funds for education, health and let alone own needs;
their struggles are unimaginable. Many sisters have no choice but to
leave their children at home on their own whilst they go to work daily
or work nights.

We humbly request you to join us in easing their difficulties and suffering

You can also donate zakkat.

We will help Syrians in Syria, Turkey and Lebanon.

We have already set up children sponsor systems and currently sponsor 300 children.

A special Orphan and Widow centre is being setup in Turkey that will
provide a much needed shelter and support. To range from general help to medical help and educational classes

You can donate to support:
>Widows in general (as a one off donation or regular monthly payments)
>Orphans in general (as a one off donation or regular monthly payments)
>Sponsor a child at £35gbp p/m in Lebanon or £25gbp in Syria/ Turkey
>Support a destitute family (as a one off donation or regular monthly payments)

APPEAL 2: - **CLOSED**

A group of sisters who were abused and in need of urgent medical attention. They were rescued and are now in Turkey, They have many sensitive medical issues that I cannot share. Including a 6 year old girl who was abused and even tried to commit suicide.

Appeal 2 is not zakkat compliant only general sadaqah for this

APPEAL 3 : CHILDREN IN NEED OF MEDICAL CARE

This is a general fund for supporting children that need urgent medical care.. by supporting children we are also consequently helping mothers. This is in some cases life saving treatments and often more important than any other need in life. This is zakkat compliant so mention zakat if you wish to donate zakkat for this appeal.
