Story

We are a group of therapists working within the Hillingdon Hospital Foundation Trust and have all decided to climb over 1,085m to the summit of Mount Snowdon to help raise money for new, beneficial equipment within the Older Adult wards.

This equipment is essential for the progression of patients, helps to enhance their rehabilitation and ensures a comfortable hospital stay.

For example getting new riser-recliner chairs for the ward help to re-create the patients home environment and can make a huge difference to their recovery. This will allow them to feel more relaxed to engage in treatment and help them to remain in a good posture when sitting out of bed on the ward. Having more equipment for the ward will shorten the patients' length of stay meaning they can be discharged earlier to their own home where they are likely to make the most improvement.

Even though you may not know the individuals you have helped, we do and therefore we are very grateful for your support! Any donations will make an enormous difference to many of the patients' hospital experience.
