Story
I am:
- a 61 year old man;
- a shade under 6ft*; and
- wanting to make money for a fantastic charity run by amazing people.
My son (Charlie) and I are having a Summer of cycling. Inspired by the Tour de Yorkshire we are going to conquer two very challenging events:
- Climb the intimidating Mont Ventoux - We will be cycling the Malaucene Route (all 21.5km with an average gradient of 7.5% - with some section as higher than 12%); and
- Prudential Ride London (100 miles) - tackling the infamous Box Hill.
Why are we doing this?
The George Oliver Foundation is a fantastic charity set up by Mark and Emily (please visit www.georgesfoundation.org). Charlie is a trustee of the charity and therefore it is very close to our hearts. The George Oliver Foundation is supporting some amazing charities this year and it WILL make a difference to the lives of children who need some additional help and support in making hard lives easier.
Thank you very much for your support. Please spread the word!
