We bring belief, hope & long term recovery to lives affected by addiction.

Story

The challenge the team will be taking on is an Isoman Tri which has been designed so that all 3 disciplines of the event are equal in magnitude.  So broken down, this means a 7mile open water swim, followed by a 61.3mile cycle ride and finished off with a 26.2mile run!..  The event will take place on Saturday 02 July.

Helen is the keen swimmer of the team and will start the race with the 7mile swim.  She has recently signed up to swim the Channel in 2017 so this will form part of her training for what will undoubtedly be an amazing challenge next year!

Jo will be getting on her bike and taking on the 61.3mile course.  This will be in-between her ride up Mont Ventoux in May and the Ride London event in July (f one event wasn’t enough) so she’s hoping her legs will be strong enough to get round.

Siobhan will be bringing up the rear and taking on the marathon part of the event with her only hope to complete the course before nightfall!  26.2miles isn’t unknown territory to her, but this will be the last one for the season.  Allegedly!

The Nelson Trust provides a women-only programme to help women recovering from addiction and trauma.

The Nelsons Trust is the Ecclesiastical nominated charity for 2016 and all of the monies raised will be 100% matched by Ecclesiastical and go directly towards the funding of various projects we are supporting them on.  From the Old School project and a range of Hub projects!
