Ed Price was a big man with a big heart and a big personality who had a "massive" impact on cricket in Herefordshire. People will have their own fond memories of Ed through his time in local sport.  Mine was from competing against him on the cricket field in his days with Kington before being taken under his wing as a developing coach for the Herefordshire junior county sides.

When Ed spoke people listened!  He commanded respect for his knowledge and passion which he always delivered in a humorous way, with memorable one liners such as " you don't score many runs in the pavilion" sticking with me ever since.

Ed's work lives on today as a testimony to all his hard work.  Herefordshire cricket is in a much stronger position and we all owe it to Ed to make sure his commitment, passion and love of the game live on in Herefordshire.
