When an individual is diagnosed with cancer the entire family is affected. Harbour Cancer Support Centre provide trained staff and voluteers who offer counselling, information, specialist support for children or just someone to listen.  As all services are offered free of charge I'm doing my part to raise funds to make sure support will be there when it is most needed.

I have been running casually for 25 years but began to take it seriously about five years ago.  Since then I have run four marathons and three ultras.  With the opportunity to take part in the iconic London Marathon I intend to make the most of it and achieve a personal best time of 3:45 or better.  Training will be tough and if I am successful will no doubt cross the finish line in pain.
