EighteenPlus is a group for young adult carers, aged 18-25, in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

The group supports young adults who provide unpaid care to someone who could not manage without their help. Their day-to-day responsibilities often include cooking, cleaning, shopping, providing nursing and personal care and giving emotional support.

Young adult carers often find it difficult to make time for education, work and social activities because of their caring role. The Eighteen Plus group gives them the chance to have a break from caring, share experiences with people who understand and get some support.
